Education and previous positions

Silvia Sotgiu holds a Degree in Preservation of Cultural Heritage (1995) from the University of Tuscia (VT) and a Diploma in Conservation (1997) from the European School of Book Conservation in Spoleto (PG). She worked two years as freelance conservator for the Province of Trento and since 1999 she is working as books and paper conservator for the Ministry of Culture at the Central Institute for Archives and Book Pathology (ICPAL) and then at the Central National Library of Rome

 

Most relevant projects

Between 2010 and 2012 ICPAL referent for the research project 'Rigid polysaccharide gels for wet treatments of paper materials.
