1998 Master degree in Biological Science (direction Molecular Biology) from University of Messina (Italy); 2002 Philosophiae doctor (PhD.) in Molecular Biology from Comenius University in Bratislava (Slovakia); 2015 Grand Doctor title (DrSc.) in Molecular Biology (Slovakia). 1999 – 2001 scientific researcher at Food Research Institute, Bratislava (Slovakia); 2001 – 2003 scientific researcher at the Institute of Microbiology and Genetics, University of Vienna (Austria); 2003 – 2017 scientific researcher and head of laboratory at the IMB-SAS (Slovakia).

Colored stains on historical papers: biological and chemical characterization coupled with removal solutions (APVV-19-0059; 2020-2023; Slovakia); Long-term strategic research and development focused on the occurrence of Lynch syndrome in the Slovak population and the possibility of preventing tumors associated with this syndrome (European Regional Development Fund, ITMS 313011V578, 2019-2023); Microbial starters and adjunct cultures for production of Slovakian bryndza cheese with traditional organoleptic properties (APVV-20-0001; 2021-2024; Slovakia).
